What is the reset? It's a deliberate step back — from ten products to one jar, from forty ingredients to five you can read in one breath. The skincare industry makes money when you buy more products, not when your skin stops needing them. A brand that sells one product has nothing to gain by making that untrue.
Pinecrest Reset is our entire product line — a whipped tallow cream with the whole ingredient list printed on the label, in order: water, 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef tallow, honey, avocado oil, and vitamin D3. No fragrance. No essential oils. No "proprietary blends" hiding a paragraph of laboratory names. Nothing on the label you can't pronounce.
Why these five?
- Honey pulls moisture in — a natural humectant, the same mechanism as hyaluronic acid.
- Tallow locks it in — a rich occlusive whose fatty-acid profile is close to the oils your own skin produces.
- Avocado oil carries it deeper — rich in oleic acid and vitamins A, D, and E.
- Vitamin D3 nourishes — the same form your skin makes from sunlight.
- Water makes it a whipped cream instead of a slab of grease.
Moisture in. Moisture locked. That's the whole formula.
Why grass-fed and grass-finished matters
Not grass-fed then grain-finished. Grass-fed and grass-finished means the cattle stayed on pasture for their whole lives — it's the question worth asking any tallow brand, and the answer is printed on our label.

A note on testing
Before you use any new skincare product, patch test it — a small amount on your inner arm or jawline for a few days — before using it on your full face. If your skin ever stings, burns, or breaks out, stop using it. That's common sense, and it applies to us as much as anyone.
